Let users reply to messages directly from push notifications without opening the app.

Show the stage of a swap (e.g. Interested → Confirmed → Completed) to reduce confusion and ghosting.

Allow users to send a direct message to another member about a listed item, even without a mutual match. This gives users more flexibility to ask questions, coordinate swaps, or express interest in donations without needing to swipe first.

Allow users to create and manage group message threads to coordinate multi-person swaps, events, or community interactions. This could be useful for neighbourhood toy swaps, playgroup gifting circles, or coordinating swaps between more than two families.

Enable users to add a third person (e.g. co-parent, partner, or another family member) to an existing one-on-one message thread. This helps families coordinate swaps together, especially when one parent starts the chat but someone else is handling the pickup or follow-up.

Allow users to share their live or pinned location directly within a message thread to coordinate swaps, drop-offs, or meetups. This makes it easier for parents to find each other quickly and safely, especially when swapping in parks, carparks, or at homes.

Allow users to send short videos within a message thread, whether it’s a quick walkthrough of an item, showing how a toy works, or confirming item condition before a swap. Videos can be uploaded from camera roll or recorded live in the app.

Enable users to send photos directly within a message thread, to show additional angles of an item, highlight any wear and tear, or confirm swap logistics (e.g. item packed, left at door, etc). Photos can be uploaded from the device or taken live in the app.

Let users make voice calls directly through a Sassybae message thread, without needing to exchange personal phone numbers. Calls are handled in-app, keeping things private and easy, especially when quick coordination is needed for meetups or last-minute changes.
